About ICM

The Full Story

The mission of Interfaith Compassion Ministry is to assist people within Lafayette County through crisis situations by providing for their basic needs and the needs of their families (food, shelter, utilities, medication, and transportation).  Exceptions to the Lafayette County residency are for victims of domestic violence, the homeless and transients, but only for help in relocating and not ongoing help.  Assistance is provided every six months.

Started in 1999 by a group of local churches determined to help those in need in our county, this organization has been providing this support for people in crisis for over 25 years.
